DTC Code B1006 – If your seat belt pre-tensioner resistance is too high odds are you will need your seat belt repaired. This is a common code to receive if you have been in an accident.
However, you can also get this code if you have not been in an accident and your seat belt charge has activated for another reason. Perhaps you hit a bad pothole or something along those lines.
The first thing you can try is, to clear the SRS codes with an OBD2 scanner, it just might work. However, if that does not work, we recommend getting your seat belts repaired or replacing them all together. You will also likely need to have your airbag module reset.
