If your scanner tool is not able to read SRS codes, you will not be able to see what kind of codes you are getting.
If the scanner tool is capable of reading SRS codes, this list will help narrow down the cause
- Clicking reset with the scanner tool.
- Checking wiring or bad fuses.
- Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.
- Driving the vehicle slowly on safe roads.
Similar to the tire pressure light, sometimes it takes some time for the light to go away after airing up and you just have to drive around for a little bit. This is only recommended on safe roads and after everything else has been checked.
