As long as you don’t have any hard codes stored in the airbag module, clearing codes is a fairly simple process.
1.) The first thing you want to do is connect the scanner tool to your vehicle.
2.) Next thing you want to do is click read with the scanner to wait for it to gather the information on your vehicle.
3.) Last thing you want to do is click reset and the codes should disappear.
If the codes are not going away, then you still have an existing issue with the vehicle, or it’s a hard code stored in the airbag module.
