Getting the airbag module reset is often a better alternative than buying a replacement module. You will also save hundreds, even thousands of dollars with the reset rather than buying a new module.
Scanning the vehicle
Any scanner, or code reader that is capable of reading SRS codes will do the job on finding out whats wrong with the vehicle. Learn more about scanner tools here.
Solving the SRS codes
Once you scan the vehicle, you will get a code, or codes and will help narrow down whats causing the light to go off.
When you get those issues solved, you will be left with some hard codes and that will require the module to be reset.
As long as there is nothing else wrong with the vehicle, the airbag light will go away after installing the reset module.
