Whenever you have an airbag light on the dashboard, it is warning you that there is something wrong with the SRS system and is NOT SAFE to drive the vehicle with the light on.
Scan the vehicle
Scanning the vehicle is the first recommended step to solving that airbag light. As long as the scanner/code reader is capable of reading the SRS codes, it will let you know exactly whats causing the light to go off.
After solving the issue(s), if you still have a light on the dashboard, it could be a hard code stored in the airbag module and will need to be reset to remove that light.
