Internal fault code with the airbag module means that there is something actually faulty with the module and you unfortunately will need to buy a new module.
What causes the SRS airbag module to have an internal fault?
- Damage to the circuit.
- Bent, pushed in, and corroded pins.
- Water damage.
- Fire damage and more.
If the module does not have that internal fault code, you will be able to get the hard crash data codes erased with SRS airbag module reset service.
